As part of our role in this event, Twisted was on hand at the 18th Gamble hole running the "Hit the Skip" game. Mendip Spring kindly provided golf balls from the lake for the players to use for the competition, saving them from wasting their own balls! The prize? A commemorative "I hit it for Weston Hospicecare" golf ball!

All the players that took part had a brilliant time swinging towards the skip with some players even hitting it! The golf balls were designed with difficulty in mind meaning we could donate leftover prizes to Weston Hospicecare for their upcoming golf day. Together with Weston Bay Rotary, Twisted also ran a golf ball tombola. all the golfers who entered for the gamble hole attempted to pull out a Twisted branded golf ball and choose a prize which were kindly donated by members of Weston Bay Rotary Club. Players showed their support by making a donation to enter the competition. All together Twisted and Weston Bay Rotary managed to raise an impressive £320 for the cause.

At Twisted we realise the importance of supporting events like this. As a small local business, taking an interest in our community and supporting local organisations as much as we can helps to spread our name around and grow within the local area. This gives us the ability to provide services to charities and organisations that they otherwise would not be able to afford, saving them time and valuable resources that can be better used elsewhere. This year we created a completely new and updated flag for Weston Bay Rotary and Weston Hospicecare are still using the ones we produced last year. We always make an effort to provide a service that reflects our values and stands out from the crowd!

Twisted are honoured to have been part of such a fantastic day in the sun - enjoying ourselves while supporting and helping a cause close to our hearts. We look forward to future opportunities and events like these where we can continue to support these local causes and charities.
